Changeling
Changeling is a painting completed in 2010. It has bene featured in several exhibitions between 2010 and 2012. The Changeling is a creature which creates its own culture of constant change. The Changeling became the f subject for Changeling Faces.

Domain of The Changeling
Domain of The Changeling is a painting completed in 2017. It deals with ideas of surveillance, safety and Society. The Changeling is center again. This is his liberation form societal labels. he was once caged. Now he roams free as a free creature once again.
THE STORY OF THE CHANGELING
CHANGELING FACES is described in three paintings: Birth, Life and Release of The Changeling. The three paintings are described
in audio consisting of rock songs with spoken word. The audio tracks correspond to the imagery in the paintings and the surrounding habitat.
SOUNDS FROM THE ROOM
Enter the domain of the Changeling.
A cacophony of alien sounds enter your ear drums.
Sounds that rise, fade, twist, and turn. These are washing, honking, and scratching sounds. From water flow to taxi cabs.
We are inundated with the labels of society and the sounds of this alien world. Order can be found in the metronome.
Navigate your earthly body through this strange soundscape. These are The Sounds From The Room.
Come closer to the original installation. Keep this track on while you move through the Changeling's habitat.
The sounds will echo in your footsteps and keep you grounded though the Changeling's story.

You are hearing the very heartbeat of The Changeling.
THE SHADOWLAND DARK FOREST
Enter through a darkened land. Entrenched in dark shadow puppets and illuminated ritual symbols. Composed of skins of ash and tar, the Changeling hides inside the shallows of the shadows. Protection from angry villagers and wild creatures who feed on love based organisms. But they can't find the Changeling when he's changing. It becomes his place fo rest before returning to the lights of society.
Experiencers are invited to feel the tactile nature of the ShadowLand Dark Forest.

THE RED RIVER
The Red River is the Lifeblood of the Changeling. It is the umbilical cord. It is the body of crimson liquid which carries the Changeling from Painting and sound works one to Paintings and sound works two. The Red River flows down from Painting 1 and rolls across the habitat floor.

Changeling Faces: Inside The Alien Domain
CREATING THE EXPERIENCE
Changeling faces is the first immersive experience project from Andrews Art World. It would be an experimental breeding ground which would lay the foundation for my future immersive projects. It involves painting, sound, performance and installation. Re-imagine re-inhabit the space, tell the story. It became a performance venue for which to produce some of the songs Live. I had intended to include video as well but it did not make the final experience, instead, a video would be presented about the journey of this process. Moreover, the next experience project would center around video, building on and expanding on elements established in this project.
BEGININGS
This project's origins go back to 2008 with the creation of .the Changeling painting. Accomplished in my studio in Boca Raton, Florida. The character
formed there. In 2015, I revisited the character in Domain of The changeling. In 2016, my acceptance into the SVA Summer Residency Program, in New York City became the means of bringing my first immersive project together. I had started developing the skeleton for such a project already, but the majority of the work was accomplished in the one month period of the residency.
The majority fo my time and energy was centered around this work. To make my visions a reality.
MATERIALS
I transformed my studio into an alien habitat. Large Tarps nailed to the wall and laid across the floor of my summer studio in Chelsea.Reams and reams of electrical tape.

EXIT EXIST was a project within a project. A feature of Changeling Faces. Centered around birth, life and death. The Red River turns into the connective cord into the afterlife, the other realm, the umbilical cord that is thrown down into darkness. The darkness was hiding inside of the closet at the other side of the doorway of the habitat realm.
